Zoya Akhtar's Next will star Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma

It's been long since filmmaker Zoya Akhtar's upcoming film about the siblings relationship is in the news for its casting.

Apparently, Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were her first choice for the role of the siblings. However, Ranbir couldn't agree to do the film due to date problems and Zoya decided to cast Ranveer Singh for the part. But then, Kareena stepped out of the film as she didn't want to play Ranveer's sister. 

And ever since then, Zoya has been having a tough time finding the right actors for the film.

But finally, it seems that Zoya has managed a kind of casting coup for the film.

As per the latest report, Priyanka Chopra has come onborard for the film to play Ranveer's sister. And making it more interesting, Anushka Sharma has also joined the team andl she will be Ranveer's love interest in the film. But like it was not big enough, yesteryear's stars Anil Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia have been roped to enact Ranveer and Priyanka's parents' roles.

Ranveer shows no sign of improvement

Ranveer Singh who was hospitalised with dengue on Thursday night is not showing any signs of improvement, more than 60 hours after he was first admitted to the Hinduja Surgical Health Care in Khar. 

he is currently kept in isolation and though doctors were contemplating shifting him to the Intensive Care Unit, they later decided against it. 

"Ranveer's platelet count is not improving and he is experiencing excruciating pain in his bones and severe bouts of shivering. His parents are keeping vigil but they too are not allowed to meet him," said the source.
